SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE – SUMMER 2013
I hope all of the Timberlane community is enjoying the start of the summer. I am already looking forward to the fall as we will be presenting our School and Program Action Plans for the first time. This will help focus our efforts on SMART goals. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timed Goal planning is essential for our continued improvement. Our Action plans will be linked to the District Action Plan and School Board Goals for the 2013/2014 School Year.
The Superintendent’s Leadership Team (SLT) will be focusing on improving teaching and learning next year in all of our schools. The SLT will be visiting our schools regularly by making Instructional Rounds and will be working directly with our building principals. Together we will continue to lead the learning by providing our children with the brightest and best teachers in southern New Hampshire!
Students, you should also start to think about setting some goals for next year. It is the perfect time to reflect on this past year and plan for next. There are many ways to make your time at Timberlane memorable, so please get involved. You will be happy that you did.
I am always open to new and fresh ideas that will improve our District. Please feel free to contact me at Email or by calling Cathy Belcher at (603)-382-6119.
Have a safe and healthy summer.
Respectfully,
Dr. Earl F. Metzler,
Superintendent of Schools
