FOOD DRIVE TO BENEFIT LION’S POWER PACK PROGRAM

The Plaistow Lions Club is holding a food drive on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 9am to 1pm at the Shaws Supermarket in Plaistow to benefit the “Lion’s Power Packs” program. In partnership with the Pollard Elementary School the “Lion’s Power Packs” program puts food in the hands of elementary school children on Fridays to carry them through the weekend when otherwise they would get limited nourishment throughout the weekend.

Superintendent Metzler supports this endeavor and further states, “It is outstanding to live and work with people that drive this type of support for our children. It is my hope that we can support this effort in any and every way possible! Thank you Lions Club of Plaistow for putting Kids First!”
