Tim Lena selected as New Hampshire’s Prevention Specialist of the year 2016!

Timberlane Regional High School Student Assistance Counselor Tim Lena has been selected as New Hampshire’s Prevention Specialist of the year 2016!

The Prevention Certification Board of New Hampshire (www.nhpreventcert.org) recently announced the selection of Tim Lena for this prestigious honor and will present the award at the NH Prevention Certification Board’s Annual meeting on Monday, June 20th from 8.30-10:00 am.

Nominated by a colleague, who indicated among other things, that Tim “consistently demonstrates the highest levels of personal integrity while advocating for the field and the people we serve and …demonstrates democratic and ethical principles while maneuvering through individual work with youth and macro level work at the regional and state level.”

We congratulate Tim on this well-deserved honor and certainly recognize all the great work he does locally for us here in the Timberlane School District in the area of prevention and support of students.
