Greater Haverhill Chamber Of Commerce Interview Competition Begins
As part of The Timberlane Regional School District Community Partnership Program, the first round of the Greater Haverhill Chamber Of Commerce Interview Challenge was held on March 10th at Timberlane Regional High School. Twenty-one members of Antoinette DeSisto’s Accelerated Entrepreneurship Class took part in the competition. Students from Haverhill High School also took part at their own school. Each student was interviewed by local business owners and rated using a predetermined rubric which included punctuality, resume, attitude, appearance, and poise. The top five students from Timberlane are:
Delaney Ripley
Mason Lariviere
William Gannon
Matt Perry
Bailey Holt
These five students will now move to the second round where they will be interviewed by a panel of four business owners. Each school has five students in the second round. The top three from those ten will move to the final round that will entail a one-on-one interview onsite at a local business. The winner will be announced at the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce meeting in May.
We would like to thank Beverly Donovan and the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce for organizing the Interview Challenge and we look forward to the upcoming rounds of the competition. Good luck to all of the students moving on!
