Superintendent Celebrates Literacy at Pollard School

As part of one of the special raffles held at the Pollard School PTA Silent Auction and Family Fun Night event, Dr. Metzler offered to read a story to the classroom of the winning ticket holder. Dr. Metzler made good on his promise to Michael Smith’s second grade class earlier this week.

“I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to share in the teaching and learning of some of our brightest young minds. Sometimes we teach them and sometimes they teach us. Every time I visit the Pollard Elementary School, I am reminded of how important it is to celebrate and foster a love for learning.” – Dr. Metzler
