Timberlane to Partner With The Jimmy Fund

We are proud to announce that the Timberlane Regional School District will be entering into a partnership with The Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Center for the 2017/18 school year. Grades 6-12 will be creating a Rally Team to hold events and fundraisers for this seminal New England charity that helps fight childhood cancer and supports families who are enduring struggles of cancer treatment with their children.

Timberlane has been a leading force in this area through the student group Project Hope which has raised over $10,000 for local families fighting cancer and charities that carry out this work. Working with Jimmy Fund Assistant Director Andrew Cader, the District will plan and carry out fundraisers throughout the year including Red Sox Opening Day events to raise money and awareness for this important cause. The Jimmy Fund will also lend a hand with our annual events such as the Strut For The Cure and Play For A Cure in the spring. We are excited for the positive impact our efforts will have through this important partnership and look forward to working with the Jimmy Fund to help fight childhood cancer.
