School Board to Present Strategic Plan
Timberlane’s Strategic Planning Committee, comprised of members of the School Board, Budget Committee, administrators and the community, met throughout the 2017-18 school year to develop a Strategic Plan that defines the mission, vision and beliefs of the school district. Once adopted by the School Board, this official document would be used to plan for future initiatives that contribute to educational success.
Through a number of public forums as well as a district-wide survey, the Committee developed five goals in the areas of academic rigor, facilities and grounds, and culture and climate.
The Board received this Plan at their September 6th board meeting and, recognizing the need for community support of the document, directed a public forum be held to present the Plan to the community prior to its final adoption.
This public forum will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6pm at the Superintendent’s Office, 30 Greenough Road, Plaistow. Please consider attending this forum to hear firsthand about the important work ahead and to ask questions about the plan’s timeline and implementation.
A full version of the Strategic Plan is available here.
The School Board will hold its regularly scheduled board meeting at 7:30pm immediately following this public forum.
