Romaine Lettuce Recall

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released an alert regarding the potential risk of E.coli infection upon consumption of romaine lettuce. Under this advisement, the Timberlane Regional School District food service vendor, Whitsons, has removed romaine lettuce from service in all menu applications to include salad bars, entrees and sandwiches. They will supplement with other lettuce varieties not impacted by the alert.
