Memorial Day Remembrance
May 24, 2020
Memorial Day is a special time set aside specifically for remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the Armed Forces. It’s a time for remembering those who put country before self; for remembering those who believed in contributing towards our country’s greater good, and for those who considered it an honor to serve.
To those who have perished at the hands of war, battle, conflict, or while in active service to the United States of America, we salute you, and we extend our thanks and deepest appreciation to all of our “Blue Star” and “Gold Star” military families. – Dr. Earl Metzler, Superintendent of Schools
