LOCAL TAX CAP PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to RSA 32:5-c III, the Timberlane Regional School Board will hold four public hearings on a Citizen Petitioned Warrant Article seeking to adopt a local tax cap for the Timberlane Regional School District.

The petitioned article reads: “Shall the Timberlane Regional School District (TRSD) vote to adopt the provisions of RSA 32:5-b, and implement a tax cap whereby the governing body and budget committee shall not submit a recommended budget that increases the amount to be raised by local taxes, based on the prior fiscal year’s actual amount of local taxes raised, by more than 2.5%?”

The Public Hearings shall take place on February 11, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at Danville Elementary School, 23 School St. Danville, NH 03819; February 13, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Atkinson Academy, 17 Academy Ave. Atkinson, NH 03811; February 18, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Sandown North Elementary School, 23 Stagecoach Dr. Sandown, NH 03873; and February 20, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, 40 Greenough Rd. Plaistow, NH 03865.
