Course Selection Process

The course selection process at the high school has begun for students in grades 8-11.

Presentations to all students have taken place regarding new course offerings and the course selection process.  All students have received a copy of the Program of Studies.  The Program of Studies is available online at the high school website.  Students will be receiving course recommendations from teachers today and tomorrow, and then high school students will be meeting individually with their guidance counselors beginning February 10, 2014.

After these individual meetings, student course selections can be viewed on the student’s PowerSchool account.  We encourage all students to make time with their parents/guardians to review the Program of Studies for a clear understanding of graduation requirements and courses being offered.  With teacher recommendations to help guide them, students will then be prepared to select a challenging course of studies when they meet individually with their guidance counselor.
