On Wednesday December 23rd, Timberlane Regional High School students, through a generous donation from our community and in partnership with our school district, will hear an authentic message that may be one of the most important they hear during their four years. Mr. Chuck Rosa will present “Chucky’s Fight”, a personal and compelling journey of struggle and resilience around substance abuse. Grade level presentations will be held during the day to help educate students on making positive decisions in their life. Mr. Rosa will share his story of struggle with substance abuse and the loss of his two sons to addiction, and how his journey to sobriety has turned into a message of hope.
In January, Mr. Rosa and “Chucky’s Fight” will return to the Timberlane campus for presentations to our grade 7 and 8 students.
Additionally on December 23rd, TRHS will be hosting their annual Mealey’s Meals fundraiser that goes to support local families in need during the holiday.
We wish to thank the Atkinson and Plaistow Lions Club organizations for their generous commitment and willingness to support our students. It is organizations like the Atkinson and Plaistow Lions Clubs that understand and value the work necessary to bind our communities together while providing the best opportunities for our students.
