Computer Science Education Week

We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works.

But only a tiny fraction of us are learning how technology works. Fewer than half of all schools teach computer science.  At Timberlane Middle School our students take Computer Science and STEAM classes all three years!!

The main aim of Computer Science Education Week  is to spark students’ interest in computer science. The goal to instill in its coders a new passion for computer science, and they provide a variety of resources for extending the spirit of CSEdWeek throughout the year.

This week, our Computer and STEAM classes will be talking about all the possibilities in the world on Computer Science!
