School Cancellation and Delay Announcements are made on the following television stations:
- TRSD.TV | Channel 6 Plaistow/Sandown
- TRSD.TV | Channel 22 Atkinson/Danville
- WMUR / Channel 9 Manchester
- WBZ / Channel 4 Boston
- WCVB / Channel 5 Boston
- WBTS / Channel 10 Boston

Attempts will be made to post announcements via Twitter, @TimberlaneRSD , Facebook @TRSD and Instagram, @TimberlaneRSD
Postings for delays or snow days will also be made on the district and all school websites.
Announcements are also sent via phone and SMS Text through the School Messenger System to parents/guardians and staff with registered phone numbers with the district. To update your phone number please contact your student’s school.
For current TRSD parents/guardians and staff members: Please note that you must opt-in to receive text messages from the district. To opt-in please text the letter Y to 67587. You should receive a confirmation message back that you are registered to receive our messages. This only needs to be performed one time per mobile number but it is not an issue to opt-in again.
Please note that phone call notifications can be delayed during peak use times of the School Messenger System and/or because of cell carrier (Verizon, AT&T, etc.) latency issues.
